SHD application sites

For a sleek SHD site with all the information you need for your An Bord Pleanála presentation, Matrix is the expert choice.

A strategic housing development (SHD) applies to projects with 100 or more houses and includes student accommodation or a mixture of student and regular housing. Developers must apply directly to An Bord Pleanála, and publish a dedicated website with all relevant planning documents and architectural drawings.

Creating this website doesn’t have to slow down the process. Matrix is the leading agency in Ireland for developing SHD application websites. We have created 150+ SHD sites using our fast-tracked template system. You don’t waste any time and resources trying to develop a site in-house, and we’ll have your site ready in two weeks, in time for your presentation to An Bord Pleanala

5 quick steps to your new SHD site:

Week 1:

  • Step 1:

After you choose your favourite design from our pre-built templates, we prepare a secure, gateway-protected clone version (staging site) of the new SHD site. We share the URL and password in a Privnote that self-destructs after you read it.

  • Step 2:

We import all your supplied CGI images and homepage text and make sure your site is easy to follow, with intuitive navigation buttons and menus.

Week 2:

  • Step 3:

We add your PDF files to the reference section, so members of the public can easily find all the relevant information about your application. You will be included in an ongoing QA process, with feedback welcome as part of our internal review.

  • Step 4:

Matrix makes any amendments based on the QA process or your change requests. The site is then signed off when you’re 100% happy.

  • Step 5:

Comprehensive QC process before the site goes live. Once the site is launched, we are available for post-live support and updates if required.
